Ghost of Yotei Release!

Ghost of Yotei was just released earlier this month and I have been having so much fun playing and streaming the game on Twitch! I was lucky enough to have helped out with the game in the early production process helping Sucker Punch and Sony implement new software for their Performance Capture and Facial Capture pipelines.
The game tells the story of a new Ghost named Atsu. It takes place three hundred years after Jin Sakai’s story from Ghost of Tsushima has concluded and follows Atsu’s quest for revenge against the Yotei Six, the band of outlaws that murdered her family and left her for dead sixteen years before the start of the game.

Sumo at The Public Theatre NYC
Earlier at the start of 2025, I fulfilled a lifelong goal of mine, and had my New York City off-broadway theatre debut at The Public Theatre playing Shinta in Lisa Sanaye Dring’s play, Sumo.
I originated this role in the world premiere production a couple years ago at The LaJolla Playhouse in San Diego and was absolutely overjoyed to step back into the role of Shinta for east coast/NYC audiences.
We opened at the beginning of March 2025 at the Anspacher Theatre at The Public and had our run extended until April, closing with a completely sold out week of final shows.
The production also had some great press during its run, like being named New York’s Hottest New Play by The Daily Beast, as well as an incredible Photo Shoot/Feature Article from Playbill. In addition to that, the show was featured in a multimedia special segment from The New York Times featuring behind the scenes photos and video of the process.
Now that the clay from the NYC Dohyo (the ring in which Sumo matches occur) has settled, the production is looking into possibilities for a national tour… so who knows? Sumo may be coming to stage near you sometime in the future! I am hopeful that our run at The Public isn’t our last, but I am so grateful to have been a part of the journey so far.

Gaysians wins AudioFile Earphones Award!
I am so proud to announce that Gaysians by Mike Curato won an AudioFile Magazine Earphones Award!! I had the honor of voicing the character of John, who is a gruff but sweet gay-mer bear who is a part of the “Boy Luck Club” a group of gay Asian-American friends navigating the highs and lows of the gay scene in Seattle during the early aughts.
from the AudioFile website:
“A full cast brings this graphic novel to life on audio. Author Mike Curato narrates in an innocent tone as AJ, who is new to Seattle and anxious to break into the gay dating scene. When he crashes into a gorgeous drag queen, K, she sweeps him into her “Boy Luck Club.” Nicky Endres brings elegance to their portrayal of K, who mothers the group of gay Asian friends while hiding her own pain. Earl T Kim voices John, a gamer with a deep, resonant voice and major insecurities about crushing on his flirtatious roommate, Steven, who is depicted with skill by Dustin Vuong Nguyen. The story shifts among the various points of view, giving a window onto the characters’ past lives, and their futures together. E.E.C. Winner of AudioFile Earphones Award ยฉ AudioFile 2025, Portland, Maine [Published: SEPTEMBER 2025]”
